The Goad/Bugg home highly values time with family and spends a lot of time with their daughter and 3 grandchildren. There are 2 small, loving dogs who live in the home. The providers are always on the go, traveling from the mountains to the ocean and new destinations in between. During the summer, they enjoy shopping at yard sales, going to parks, museums, and local farms to pick fresh produce. They enjoy giving back to their community and are often making bags to give to the homeless, filling blessing boxes around the New River Valley, and helping at soup kitchens and clothing banks.

The Hankla home is situated in the heart of Marion, VA, located very close to town, yet nestled away with an abundance of wildlife in the back yard. The Hankla home is welcoming to everyone. Wanda Hankla is a compassionate and outgoing provider. While she and the current individual living in her home enjoy time at home, they are always willing to take a road trip or spend the day out and about in the community. Wanda has experience with and is accommodating to a wide range of needs and support levels. Wanda is looking to expand her capability to an individual in need of a home.

Happy Beginnings is a large 4 bedroom home with plenty of natural light, large common areas, 2 large bathrooms with walk in shower, and caring staff ready to help. Property features a beautiful yard with plenty of room for gardening, large covered porch perfect for sitting outside watching the birds, riding in the outdoors on golf carts, and plenty of space for cookouts. Residents enjoy many activities including: arts and crafts, cooking activities in large kitchen, gardening, crocheting, and love trying new activities.

We cater to a diverse population, including individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and those transitioning from institutional settings to community living. Our mission is to empower residents through personalized care, skill development, and the promotion of independence. Activities include art and music therapy and recreational outings. Residents are encouraged to actively participate in planning these activities, promoting teamwork and leadership skills.

The staff in the Spring Valley home have a combined 30 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. This home specializes in care for individuals with medical needs. Individuals will have the opportunity to participate in activities in the community almost daily and can attend a yearly family vacation.

The Woods are a close-knit family, energetic, outgoing, compassionate, and love spending time with family and friends. The Woods live in a single level home on two acres of land with their friendly dog, Murphy. Their home is licensed for youth or adult individuals. They believe their best match for the home would be an individual that wants to attend a day support program at least four days per week and/or attends school. Kelly and Eddie exhibit a strong understanding of person-centered practices and Eddie plans to serve as a backup worker for the service.
